Tine

Tine is a fast, local-first outliner that reads and writes a real Logseq Markdown (and Org) graph on disk. It aims to feel like — and round-trip with — Logseq: the outliner, tasks and priorities, journals, page and block references, queries (with a visual builder), PDF and media, and HTML export. About the permissions Tine asks for: All files access — Tine edits an ordinary folder of Markdown files that you choose and keep wherever you like: a Syncthing folder, an SD card, a shared Documents directory. Android's restricted storage model offers no way to grant an app read-write access to a tree of plain files that other apps also write to, so full file access is what makes a real on-disk graph possible. Tine touches only the graph folder you point it at. Network access — Tine has no accounts, no server of its own, and no sync service; it does not phone home and collects no analytics. The permission is used only to load remote content that is already in your own notes: images and media you linked by https:// URL, and embedded YouTube or Vimeo players if you paste such a link. If nothing in your notes points at a remote URL, Tine makes no network requests of its own. The F-Droid build additionally has the online plugin catalogue compiled out, so plugins and themes can only be installed from local files. DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION — this one is not really Tine's. It is added automatically by Google's AndroidX libraries, it is declared by the app on itself at signature protection level, and it grants nothing to anyone: it exists so those libraries can keep their internal broadcast receivers private to the app rather than exposing them to other apps. It shows up in the list because F-Droid displays every permission found in the manifest.
